Johannes Torpe speaks at  Beijing Design Week 2017

We are happy to announce that Johannes has been invited by The Open Heart Design Alliance to speak at Nordic & Beijing Day during Beijing Design Week.

Nordic & Beijing Day is a day of conversations linking “Scandinavian know-how with China relevance”. Johannes Torpe is part of a select group of cultural influencers and change-makers from Scandinavia invited to Beijing to share insights from their respective fields.

The Open Heart Design Alliance works to connect policymakers, designers, enterprises and social organizations to explore and uncover sustainable solutions to some of the most pressing social design issues in China today.

Nordic & Beijing Day is the official opening of the Open Heart Design Campus; a social learning hub focusing on mindful design for sustainable living. The campus is situated in a wetland park in Beijing, where a new city quarter will be built drawing on the findings and prototype solutions generated during the ve-day program.
